NOMON
HISTORY
The history of Nomon began more than 20 years ago, as a result of the union
between the furniture designer José María Reina and the jewelry designer
Àngels Arrufat. The fusion of their know-how gave rise to a
new concept of jewelry watch, unique so far.
Together they dared to break barriers and overcome old
pre-established canons, where the clock simply marked
the hours, and jewelry the status.
They believed in an innovative idea that, beyond the
functional and decorative aspects, raised the wall clock to a much more premium
category. And they did it with three very clear pillars:
absolute respect for tradition, high quality materials and a totally new design
, similar to the best brands of contemporary furniture
. A concept that quickly caught on among architects
and renowned interior designers.
DESIGN & ENVIRONMENT
Sustainability for Nomon is based on designing timeless objects of
quality that will last as long as possible. Producing with common sense
and not consuming more than necessary, putting quality before quantity
. Another essential pillar in our sustainable commitment is
to work with local artisans and suppliers from our environment, which
reduces the carbon footprint and promotes the circular economy.
HANDMADE FURNITURE
Our furniture are unique pieces made by hand, the variations
that can present are due to its production with natural materials
and handcrafted finishes. The delicate processes used,
the careful presentation and attention to detail give the
rma Nomon its exclusive character. All our products are
entirely manufactured in Barcelona.
